Studio Policies
Dance COVID-19 Protocols
The health and safety of our dance families and staff is our first priority. We will stay current on all safety requirements and update our protocols as needed to stay within the government guidelines for our facility.
Drop Off:
COVID-19 Waiver, completed at class registration, will be collected before students enter the studio.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled class
We have incorporated additional time in between classes to disinfect the studio
Wait in the car drop-off line until you reach the front door
At this time a masked DWD staff member will greet the student to take their temperature and give the student hand sanitizer
Students will then be taken inside to their assigned spot to place their bag and outside shoes (one bag per student/family and have dancers bring their own water bottle)
Dancers will have a marked area in the dance room that is 6ft apart from each other
Pick Up:
Please arrive on time at the end of your dancers class
It will take a few minutes to get all students out and we will need time to disinfect in between classes
Students will be given hand sanitizer while leaving the studio
Wait in the car pick up line (same as drop off)
DWD staff will walk students out one at a time when we see their family
In Studio:
At this time masks are optional unless otherwise stated. We encourage unvaccinated students to wear masks.
At this time we will not allow the waiting area to be open for anyone (dancers ages 4 and under may have ONE parent wait in the waiting area)
Many hand sanitizers will be located around the studio
Proper disinfection will be done to the entire studio in between each class
We will keep outside doors open when able to, as well as fans on, to circulate clean air
Temperatures will be taken prior to entering the studio, anyone with a 99.6 temperature or higher will not be allowed to enter the studio
If dancers are not feeling well please keep students home and let the studio know.
DWD is doing all that we can in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for our dancers. Please try and follow the general stated health and safety guidelines when outside the studio as well to ensure our DWD families remain safe and we can continue dancing.
Standard Dance Policies
Tutition & Payments
Tuition paid in full (year in full) must be paid in cash or check before your first class to receive discount
Tuition paid in 8 installments is due on the first of the month from September to April
All tuition is the same for in-studio and virtual classes
In the event, the entire studio must go virtual, tuition will continue regularly.
If you decide to decline from a class and stop tuition payment, we can not guarantee your spot will be available if you should return to the class in the same season.
Ticket codes for recital ticket purchase will not be given out until family balances are paid in full (tuition, costume, supplies)
Recital Bundle
Recital Bundles must be paid in cash or check only and are non-refundable
Costumes can not be taken home until Recital Bundle is fully paid
Recital Bundle $165
Each Additional Sibling $125
Each Additional Class $85
Withdrawing From Class
The studio must receive notification via e-mail 10 days prior to withdrawal. You will then be sent a confirmation for any remaining balance due or refund applied.
Any dropped classes AFTER November 15th are still responsible for 1st Recital Bundle payment (⅓ of total)
Classes dropped after December 1st are responsible 1st and 2nd Recital Bundle payment (⅔ of total)
Classes dropped after February 1st are responsible full Recital Bundle payment
Makeup Classes
If you miss a scheduled class please notify the studio. We will arrange for a class similar to your regular class for makeup.
Unscheduled Studio Closings
You will be notified via e-mail no less than one hour prior to the class start time for any unscheduled studio closings.
Dress Code
Students should arrive at the studio dressed in proper dance attire for your class
Hair tied back and out of face
Correct dance shoes for class and bag to keep all belongings in
Please label all shoes and belongings with the dancer's full name
Students should have their own water bottle labeled with name
Ballet Dress Code:
Leotards with tights or solid color leggings with a fitted dance top. Ballet skirts are optional.
Shoe Color by Class:
Ballet Shoes: Pink
Jazz Shoes: Tan
Tap Shoes: Tan
Lyrical Shoes: Tan
Acro Shoes: Tan
Hip Hop Shoes: Black
Pilates COVID-19 Protocols

All sessions are by appointment only.
At this time we are only taking privates, duets, and trios.
Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. We have incorporated additional time in between clients to disinfect the studio
Wait in the car or outside the studio until you are called in
Completed COVID-19 Waiver will be collected before entering the studio
Please take your temperature before coming to the studio, we do have a thermometer in the studio if you’re unable to do so before arriving.
Wash hands before touching any studio equipment
Masks must be worn at all times by staff and clients
If both the trainer and client prefer and agree to take masks off while keeping distance they may do so.
In Studio

At this time we will not allow the waiting area to be open for anyone to sit
We will keep outside doors open when able to, as well as fans on, to circulate clean air
COVID-19 Waiver must be filled out before each session
If you are not feeling well, please stay home and let the studio know.
Sessions can be rescheduled without penalty with a minimum of 24-hour notice.
